Despair.com

Despair.com is so good I wish I had thought of it.  You will laugh out loud at this site which is probably better than mine.  Damn!  If you are familiar with those sappy posters that line the halls where you work you will love this site which parodies those meaningless adventures into the land of motivation.  Demotivation is the theme of Despair.com and they'll also take your money if you want to put their posters up where you work.  The great thing about these posters is that they look exactly like the originals until you read what they say.  An excellent, excellent site.

The Executive Coloring Book (New!)

Good satire. If you like The Corporate Asylum, you'll like this.

SlowDownNow.org

This is an excellent site. The motto of the site, "We believe a slow lifestyle is better than a fast one," reflects an important and necessary view of life. Christopher Richards goes on to say, "We would never needlessly indulge ourselves in hurry, efficiency, or multitasking." There are a lot of quotable lines on this site but I'll let you check the rest out for yourself. Make sure you read the essay "The Importance of the British Tea Break" and have a cup of tea before, during and after you read it.

Work to Live

This site has a lot of great information regarding the amount of time that we work.  The site is based upon the book, Work to Live: The Guide to Getting a Life by Joe Robinson(See The Inmate's Review of Work to Live Here).  One of the things that Joe is working on is getting legislation passed that guarantees U.S. workers vacation time.  We work much more than Europeans and currently there is no law in the United States that guarantees workers vacation time.  Great site.  Check it out.

Take Back Your Time

The subtitle of the book by the same name is: Fighting Overwork and Time Poverty in America.  Good site.
